Memorial day isn't about the people who served and survived. It is to remember those who didn't.Thankfully, I didn't have too many fallen friends during my time in the Army, but anyone who's served knows a few, and I lost several even after I was out of the Army. I miss those friends, so, while you enjoy your barbeques and the beginning of summer, please take a moment to think about the men and women who have sacrificed everything, and the families that miss them as you enjoy the holiday.
